CLASS OF 2011 RANKINGS
1. KATIE KUKLOK 59 G POWAY
Katie kuklok is an emerging star who brings it every game. She has an incredible ability to work hard on both ends of the court. Katie is a true team leader. She takes care of the ball and does not turn it over. Katie is a player who can run the floor, score, pass and play defense. She can take you off-the-dribble and finish at the rim and can knock down the perimeter jumper.
2. GILLIAN HOWARD 64 C LA JOLLA COUNTRY DAY
Long center with a great attitude and work ethic, Howard is equally at home with her back to the basket as well as facing-up. Gillian has impressive skills, runs the floor well and plays with energy. She takes up tons of space in the paint and is surprisingly agile for her size. Howard is a reliable scorer on the low block and a dependable rebounder.
3. DANIELLE MILLER 58 G MT. MIGUEL
Miller is a lockdown defender who plays to win. Always hustling and very active around the ball, Miller gets a lot of easy baskets because of her aggressive play. She runs the floor very well. Miller is one of the most versatile athletes in the county. She can play the point guard position and bring it up under duress without turning over the ball. Skilled wing with an impressive court swagger can really put points on the board.
4. ALISSA CAMPANERO 51 PG THE BISHOPS SCHOOL
Small but strong, quick and athletic playmaker has a water-proof handle and nice ability to beat defenders off the dribble. Alissa is a terror on defense. She can pick pockets. Campanero takes the ball to the rack with quickness and speed. Alissa worked on her outside shot all summer and has improved. Now defenders will have to honor her outside shot, because of her blow-by moves and her ability to hit the 3-pointer.
5. MYESHIA WATKINS 53 PG MT. MIGUEL
Quick PG handles rock well and is a pesky defender. Developing young point is getting stronger which should help her effectiveness this upcoming season.
6. KIMBRELI FLOURNOY 58 G HORIZON
Long and agile guard has improved ability off the dribble and the athleticism to make an impact on both ends of the floor.
7. ASHLEY GUAY 54 PG OUR LADY OF PEACE
Smart lead guard had an excellent summer and can really run a team.
8. CHRISTINA KIME 52 PG CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC
Crafty floor-general has impressive court vision. Kime is a fast PG has a solid handle, a pin-point passer, and shoots it pretty good from behind the arc.
9. FANTINE GIAP 59 SG TORREY PINES
Scrappy off-guard has legitimate range on his jump shot.
10. MEGHAN FENNESSY 58 SG TORREY PINES
She can play the finesse game or the physical mix-it-up game in the paint. Fennessy is a fundamentally sound player.
11. KAYLA MILLER 56 SG LA JOLLA COUNTRY DAY
Tremendous three-point shooting threat and is a much underrated athlete. Kayla can also defend!
12. JAQUELINE WEYMAN 58 G CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC
Weyman is a strong body that can rebound the ball. Plays strong inside, but consistent mid-range and three point shot could be improved.
13. HALEY SHEPARD 56 SG HORIZON
A good shooter with good athletic ability and an above-par handle on the ball, Haley is an improving player on the defensive end.
