Very versatile “jack-of-all trades” is a multiple position player that can create match-up problems for opposing defenses. Orekhova can play virtually 4 positions on the floor and her consistent production in almost every important offensive category brings great value to a team’s winning effort. Inga is an outstanding three point shooter and athlete that was in high demand by national elite programs. Such as North Carolina, Duke, Texas, UCLA, but chose Northwestern. If Inga Orekhova were a stock….now would be a good time to buy.– maybe San Diego’s best college prospect since Candice Wiggins and Charde Houston. Simply put………Inga is an elite high major player and arguably as good as anyone in the country.
2. GIZELLE STUDEVENT /5’11 SG/ THE BISHOP’S SCHOOL/ PENN STATE
Great athlete has crazy “bounce” and is an underrated DEFENDER! Gizelle’s long-body and ample athleticism makes her a dangerous offensive rebounder. Studevent is one of the best pure jump-shooter in the country. Penn State-bound agile and active competes with intensity and makes plays at both ends. Gizelle has plenty of room to add additional weight and strength which will make her an even more productive future force for the Nittany Lions in the Big Ten.
3. DANESIA WILLIAMSON/ 5’7 PG /MT. MIGUEL/ UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO
Crafty point with a sizzling handle can really beat defenders off the dribble. USD-bound lead guard is also a terrific defender! Cerebral point with a vibrant personality, Danesia is an excellent leader on the floor with scoring confidence as well. Williamson is a scoring PG; she is also a good passer and slasher.
4. VICTORIA LIPPERT/ 5’11 SG /CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC /HARVARD
Tremendous three-point shooting threat and much underrated athlete can also defend!

Promising playmaker has high-major potential. Smooth ball handler has a huge basketball IQ and the leadership personality and skills you would expect in an elite PG.
6. CHEYENNE CURLEY-PAYNE/ 5’4 PG /EASTLAKE /HOWARD UNIVERSITY
Savvy point is a clever playmaker that is quick as a cat and can shake off pesky defenders via her nasty cross-over dribble. Payne is a ball ”HAWK” led the county in steals the last two years, and is on pace of breaking numerous steal records.

Physical player bangs with the best down low and can finish with regularity in traffic. Can defend 4 positions on the floor.

Intriguing forward is long and athletic with much upside. Class of 2009 sleeper could be a valuable spring signee.
