The Roux’s Top Ten Teams:
.Glen Oaks High School-(25-1) (0-1 out of state)-Have won 24 in state games in a row.  High flying Brian Williams leads a potent starting 5.  They have begun district 3-0 and a big game against Istrouma awaits Friday.  They also play Zachary on the 6th and South Lafourche in the HOF.

.Christian Life Academy-(16-4) (6-2 out of state) (0-1 HOF)- This is a team that is running through district.  They have done it with a balanced scoring attack led by Langston Galloway and Patrick Robinson.  They did let a game against Zwolle in the Many HOF slip away,  but they still have to be considered up there with the best.  The crusaders will play Northside at Comeaux’s HOF Saturday.

.St. Thomas Aquinas-(21-7) (1-1 out of state)-Raymone Andrews and c/o 2011 Guard Zaverael Jackson have led Aquinas to a 7 game winning streak and an undefeated district start.  They stand 8-0 in district and should walk away with another district championship.  This will be a tough game in the playoffs.

.Plaquemine-(21-2) (1-1 out of state)-Riding a 5 game win streak since the 11pt lose to Istrouma.  The Green Devils had a big win over district rival Port Allen, and face Lutcher Friday for the battle for 1st in district.  HOF vs EHS looms on the horizon.

.East Ascension-(23-4)-Tough district start has this team slipping down the standings.  Lost 2 of the first 4 and now need to pick up tough wins over Destrahan and East St John.  Coach Almond should get them going.

.Catholic-(20-7)-Inconsistent team with loads of talent.  After losing 4 of 6 they rebounded by winning 4 out of the next 5.  Their only lose during that stretch was to East Ascension. 3-0 district start gives them the advantage going into the second round of play next week.

.Istrouma-(18-8) (1-1 out of state)(1-0 HOF)-The Indians went through a tough stretch dealing with injuries and internal problems, but Coach Dotson seems to have them back on track winning their last three games including a big win over 2A Many in the HOF.  Game vs Glen Oaks Friday could get them back in the district hunt.

.Episcopal-(26-3) (1-0 HOF)- Coach Chris Beckman has the Knights on a 12 game winning streak.  They put this streak to a test with big district games vs PCC, Dunham and rival Uhigh, followed by the LSU HOF game vs Plaquemine.  These games should let EHS know where they stand as a team.

.Dunham (26-1)-A 2pt win over PCC last week kept the #2 team on track.  They are on a 10 game win streak and get a shot to take sole possession of first place in district Tuesday when they play EHS.

.St Amant-(17-8)-Huge district win over EA stopped a 4 game slide.  Can they begin a run at the district title tonight vs Dutchtown or will they continue with their inconsistent play.
