COMMENTS: One of the best pure point guards in the Jackson Public School system, and that is saying a lot.  I’m truly surprised no one has signed this young man.  I certainly did not expect him at my camp.  Nevertheless, I have known Ruscell for two years, and this was his first full year playing for Jim Hill High, and he lead them to the MS Coliseum for the state tournament.  His play says it all as no one expected them to be there.  He is super quick, with an incredibly improved jump shot.  His height may scare scouts, but he plays much bigger than 5’9.  Ruscell has tremendous heart, and he has played in the toughest gyms in Jackson with several basketball pundits praising his play.  I am putting my personal stamp that this young man will be signed if and when a coach gives him the opportunity.  Two years with the right JUCO will get him ready for D1.  He’s that solid.
