COMMENTS: This young man was one of the best defensive players in the entire camp, also adding some offense to go with it, driving to hole with no fear.  Although Cortrel did not play high school ball last year, he has played on major AAU teams such as the Jackson Celtics and the Mississippi Ballers, and was a major contributor on both teams.  He keeps himself in good physical condition, and he always takes the challenge of guarding the other team’s best player.  He would be a good addition as a defensive stopper on the JUCO or small college level.
