Former and Current Players of CCB Camps

Former Wildcat Shines in the Green and Gold Game

Joseph Watkins of Hamilton H.S. Memphis, is making a smooth transition to college life as an impact freshman who is being touted as a defensive stopper that may be the sixth man of the year for U of San Francisco.

Jeremy Williams of Hamilton H.S. Memphis, like J Watt, is bringing it as well out in Colorado.  In his first game he had a stat line like an upperclassman (13 points on 5-7 shooting in 20 minutes).

Books and Ball, Bryson Brewer, not the King...

My college coach use to make us repeat the three words (books and ball) before and after practice.  That coach is now at Liberty U and I am a three time college grad who is doing pretty darn good.  Above is Bryson Brewer who is playing for the University of Southern Mississippi.  He was one of the first players to participate in a CCB Camp and had contacts from Dartmouth and Lehigh but decided to stay at home.  What is really great about this is that it was not hoops that closed this deal it was academics.  Read More

Former Hamilton Star

Jeremy Williams 6-8 Freshman at the University of Colorado from last years undefeated Hamilton team, is making waves early in his career. While most accolades have been heaped on Brandon Wright and Thad Young due to ACC bias, Jeremy is quietly developing into a valued prospect.  In his first start of the season against UNC-W, Jeremy notched 14pts on 4-4 shooting and 6-7 shooting from the free throw line with 4 rebounds in only 21 minutes.

Harlan Jones of Hamilton H.S. Memphis is taking advantage of his second lease on his basketball life.  He is the starting PG at Southwestern College in San Diego, CA.  Harlan defines the mission of CCB, he is taking advantage of an opportunity after everyone had given up on him.  Keep putting it down, Harlan.

Jeremy Williams

University of Colorado

In a class of Tennessee players where the high profile gets the press, Jeremy Williams is quietly becoming possibly the best player of last years class.  Yeah, this is arguable, but under the circumstances his career at Hamilton has prepared the kid for future stardom.  Having game is great but a sense of humor is definitely needed.
