The ARK TOP 2010
1. Aaron Cooper 5’11 North Pulaski High School
A very quick ball handler with unlimited range, excellent free throw shooter. Aaron is game tested and has good basketball genes, plays for his father at his high school and summer traveling team. Father played his college ball at Arkansas State-Jonesboro. Once he shows the leadership that a true point guard requires to make those around him better, Aaron may be one of the most talented players in the nation in the class of 10.

2. Preston Purifoy 6’5 Conway High School
Preston could hold the title of the best player in Arkansas in the class of 2010. He has proven on the national circuit that he shows great versatility. His shooting, ball handling, rebounding has him ranked on many scouts list.

3. Jordan Weaver 6’2 Wynne High School
Jordan is an explosive lefty that shows good range on his jump shot, and is very crafty   around the basket. One of the few in state players that started as a freshman. A very capable player with good upper body strength and an above average game.  Definitely a D-1 guy.

4. Kenyon McNeil 6’0 Conway High School
A good combination of strength and speed, he has developed into a decent ball handler. Kenyon's attributes: he plays hard all the time and he doesn’t mind mixing it up with the big boys in the paint. He will hit free throws and guard the best player on the other team. Once his outside shot becomes         consistent Kenyon will have college coaches pounding on the door.

5. Daniel Broughton 6’7 White Hall High School
Daniel has a nice touch around the basket and he rebounds well. He is a good free throw shooter. He needs to really improve ball handling and conditioning and add some solid footwork drills. Daniel will be playing college ball some were but at what level depends a great deal on his work ethic.

6. Alandis Harris 6’6 Little Rock Central High
Alandis has all the tools to be a nationally ranked player. He handles the ball well and has a good shot. But he needs to understand it’s a team sport and it takes all five players on the court to work at the same time. In due time he should progress.

7. Michael Bradley 6’5 J.A. Fair
Michael is very athletic with a soft touch and good shot blocking skills.  He is able to play inside and out. Needs to be a lot more demanding on offense and become more accustomed to moving without the ball strength and footwork will allow for Michael to rise on a national level as well.

8. Cedric Williams 6’0 Oak Grove High School
Cedric can shoot with the best of them, a very strong player that is trying to make the transformation from playing in the post to playing the guard position.  Once his ball handling and basketball I.Q develops you will see this young man emerge, he could be one of the best ball players that this north side of the river has yet to witness.

9. Christopher Green 6’6 Arkansas Baptist
Chris is as hard of a worker as you’ll find and time will be of the essence for this talented ball player. Needs to work on strength and quickness and develop a mental toughness. Chris is still growing The sky is the limit, he has some college’s interested already.

10. Daquan Bryant 6’2 North Pulaski High School
Daquan is unique he has a very wide body and he uses it very well, he handles the ball well in the open court and loves to pass. He can play on the perimeter or bang in the post.  Has the skill to take bigger players off the dribble or shoot the three.  Very skilled for his age and his size.

11. DeShone McClure 6’1 Jacksonville High School
A very long and crafty young player. He can score in bunches but is a streaky outside shooter. As he adds strength and agility he can emerge to a college prospect. Deshone must learn that defense will take him to that elite status and mental toughness is a must for this young ball player. Upside looks promising with the right coaching and instruction.

12. Mike Morris 6’6 J. A Fair High School

Mike has just started playing organized ball so at times he tends to drift but he rebounds and attacks the rim. With coaching and instruction Mike will give this top five a shake up real soon. Needs to learn footwork and positioning that will help keep him out of foul trouble.

13. LaGregory Hinkle 6’3 Marianna High School
LaGregory plays much bigger than he is and he plays with intensity and heart. Loves to bang inside but for his size needs to bring a mid range to his game and show that he can handle the ball. Needs to learn good shot selection, if and when he learns basketball from the TEAM concept his stock will rise.

14. Kip Kelly 6’6 Pea Ridge High School
Kip is an exceptional talent, runs well and jumps out of the gym he shows good shooting skills and will rebound with the best of them. How much time Kip puts into basketball might be the question mark and the level of talent that he plays against in school. The summer would be very beneficial if he catches on with a team that will expose his true talents, could very well be one of the most all around players in the class.

15. Ian Carter 6’6 Fort Smith Northside
Good sized player who runs the floor like a deer, has some decent post moves that will only get better as he ventures into the weight room. Gym time and hours of shooting will put Ian on the radar to continue playing after his high school days are over.

16. Jr 6'6 (F) Terrance Walker/JHS/Jonesboro, Ar.
