3rd Day Results July 8th
MEMPHIS - The conclusion of the CCB All-American Camp featured Team White vs Team Royal. Team Royal was victorious running away from Team White 67-38. Team Royal Championship Game MVP was 6-4 Darrell Bell (Simmons College of Kentucky-Soph). Bell used an array of moves to finish 21pts, 2rebounds, 2assists, and 1 steal. Darrell Bell was labeled Bonzi Wells by coaches at the event who admired his ability to score without having to control the ball. As a guard he uses his size to post smaller players and on the perimeter he has a nice enough handle to get to the basket. His ability to rebound from the guard spot is a bonus. As Simmons College moves into the season they have several players who will garner attention from D-1 schools and a host of others who will definitely get attention from colleges at all levels. CCB All-American Camp MVP DeShawn Pendleton finished up the camp with an outstanding all around game of 10pts, 6rebounds, 6assists and 3 steals.

Team White fell hard after pulling off the upset in defeating Team Gold. Team White MVP Aaron Cooper c/o 2010 Pulaski H.S. (Arkansas) struggled to find his range. Team White took solace in the fact that Gavin McDaniel (10pts, 6rebs,) 6-6 c/o 2008 Wynne H.S. (Arkansas) and Marc Chambers (11pts, 2rebs) 6-4 c/o 2008 Loranger H.S. (Louisiana) kept it close early before Team White lost the composure that led to the semifinal victory.
The CCB Camp concluded with the All Star game which included players from each team in an uptempo battle that ended with a buzzer beater. Check back soon to watch the highlights of the All Star game. To wrap up the camp each team MVP and all awards will be listed. It was a fantastic event that introduced a number of players who will become highly regarded throughout the rest of the summer.
